Arden Cashion

Arden Cashion, LCSW

Arden Cashion is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in treating young adults, adolescents, and families challenged with mental health and substance use disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital assessment departments, and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams. Prior to joining Triangle Wellness & Recovery PLLC, Arden completed her clinical training at Triangle Springs, working full-time in multiple departments to assist patients struggling with depression, substance abuse, anxiety, and behavioral/conduct disorders.

While working at Triangle Wellness and Recovery, Arden continues to incorporate a person-centered, integrative, and trauma-informed treatment approach with her clients. Arden is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults to address life challenges, stress management, substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, conduct disorders, and more. Arden believes that the relationship between the client and therapist is one of the most important elements of the therapeutic experience. Utilizing a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and humanistic approaches, Arden works with her clients in a nonjudgmental and respectful manner to help one better understand oneself.

Arden holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master’s in Social Work from North Carolina State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. As a young adult in recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges, Arden developed a deeply personal understanding of how powerful it could be to connect with a therapist and receive quality treatment. Since then, Arden has dedicated her life to helping guide those who feel as lost as she once did. When Arden isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and cuddling with her grumpy cat.
