Doreen Runyon, CADC

Director of Business Development


Doreen Runyon is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with over 15 years of professional experience in the addiction field. Her diverse history of providing direct services include inpatient and outpatient case management in a residential treatment center in Upstate NY and working as a qualified professional on an ACT team in Durham, NC. She also has experience as a DWI counselor and Prime for Life instructor, including supervisory roles for an IOP as well as for peer support services. More recently, Doreen has worked as a Community Business Development Representative here in NC, attending networking events and linking patients and family to quality care locally and nationwide.


Doreen enjoys working with several demographics including monitored professionals but is often known for sharing her experience, strength and hope with those still suffering from addiction in her local community.  Doreen is a woman in long term personal recovery. Doreen enjoys laughing with her husband, cuddling her grandbabies and hanging out with good friends around a campfire.
