Buprenorphine and Suboxone

Buprenorphine and Suboxone in the NC Triangle

Suboxone is a life-saving treatment for opioid addiction.

Suboxone is the brand name of a combination of buprenorphine and naltrexone. Buprenorphine is a long acting medication that reduces the craving for opioids and also protects against overdose.

Suboxone is highly effective and taken at home just like any other regular medication. We can prescribe Suboxone or buprenorphine over telemedicine or with in person visits in our Cary, North Carolina office.

Suboxone is preferred by many people who do not want to go to a methadone clinic every morning. It can fit more conveniently into the life you want to live.

We also offer naltrexone and the Vivitrol injection as FDA approved alternatives to Suboxone.

Suboxone® is one of the buprenorphine-containing products that is FDA-approved for the treatment of moderate to severe opioid use disorder.

Sublocade® is an extended release form of buprenorphine that is injected monthly by a health care professional.
